Governance context

The original roster paired most people with an employer or public role. Its mix reflected the public-private model described elsewhere on the site: business executives served alongside representatives connected with Gillette, Wright and Campbell County government. The 2015 About page summarized the governing body as thirteen business executives and representatives from the county and the city.

The affiliations represented banking, coal production, mine services, building supplies, real estate, construction and regional utilities, as well as municipal and county government. The roster therefore joined commercial experience with public representation from Gillette, Wright and Campbell County.

The four executive officers and nine directors made a thirteen-member roster for the 2007–2008 term. Offices were stated for the executive group, while every remaining member was identified as a director.

Board pages in the old site

The 2008 navigation placed board information under About, alongside staff, success stories, investors, an annual report, frequently asked questions and contact. By 2014, “Board of Directors” was a utility link at the top of every page and also appeared within Investor Relations beside board minutes and the annual event.

The United States Economic Development Administration’s 2011 archive provides an authoritative external record of the organization’s period planning work, though it does not verify this earlier board roster.
