Governance context
The roster paired most people with an employer or public role. Its mix reflected CCEDC’s public-private model: business executives served alongside representatives connected with Gillette, Wright and Campbell County government. In 2015, the governing body comprised thirteen business executives and representatives from the county and the city.
The affiliations represented banking, coal production, mine services, building supplies, real estate, construction and regional utilities, as well as municipal and county government. The roster therefore joined commercial experience with public representation from Gillette, Wright and Campbell County.
The four executive officers and nine directors made a thirteen-member roster for the 2007–2008 term. Offices were stated for the executive group, while every remaining member was identified as a director.
